The name Triphala means “the three fruits”. Triphala is a combination of three fruits (Harada, Amla and Behada) that has been used in Ayurvedic herbalism for thousands of years. Triphala has been historically used as a digestive cleanser and tonifier. In recent years, Triphala has been shown to be a potent free radical scavenger. In addition, it has been found to possess numerous other bioactive compounds, including gallic acid, tannic acid, and epicatechin.
Each tablespoon (15 mL) contains: Medicinal Ingredients: Organic Acai500 mg (Euterpe oleracea) (Freeze-Dried) (Equivalent to 35,000 mg of Fresh Acai) Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Vegetable Glycerine, Natural Acai Fruit Flavour, Dextrose, Berry Flavour, Silica, De-Ionized Water, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate.
DIRECTIONS Adult Dosage: Take 1 tablet daily between meals, a few hours before or after taking other medications. If you have or develop abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting, consult a health care practitioner. Laxative effect may occur. Discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhoea.
