Bring rapidly to a second boil separating with fork to hasten thawing. 4. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 10-12 minutes (For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. To retain highest quality and texture, do not overcook.) 5. Drain and serve. Microwave: 1. Place kale and tablespoons water in a microwave-safe casserole. Cover. 2. Cook on high for 5-6 minutes (For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. To retain highest quality and texture, do not overcook.) Stir. 3. Cook on high for another 2-3 minutes or until tender. Drain. Keep frozen until ready to use.
