Packed with nutrients, camu camu berries contain beta carotene, calcium, iron, niacin, phosphorus, potassium riboflavin and thiamin, and the amino acids Leucine, Serine, and Valine. They also have a number of medicinal properties, and (as nutritional support) have been used as: astringents (they may be particularly effective against the herpes virus), anti-inflammatories (their seeds contain betulinic acid, which may be able to help prevent inflammation-based diseases such as arthritis), and emollients (they are increasingly being incorporated into hair care products).
Each capsule contains: 500 mg of concentrated Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia, fruit), providing 77 mg of Vitamin C, in a cellulose capsule.
Natural Traditions CamuC contains no added fillers, flavours, maltodextrin, sweeteners or synthetic ascorbic acid.
