Red Yeast Rice Plus

Red Yeast Rice is a completely natural way of lowering total blood cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, both of which are risk factors towards heart disease and stroke. Red yeast rice is produced from rice that's been fermented with a type of yeast called Monascus purpureus. It's been used in China and other countries for centuries as a medicinal product. Red yeast rice contains several ingredients that may help control or lower cholesterol levels. These include a number of monacolins, most importantly monacolin K. Ingredients
Medicinal Ingredients: Each tablet contains: S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine (SAMe) 200 mg (from 400 mg of S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine Disulfate Tosylate) Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol, enteric coating (methacrylic acid copolymer, talc, triethyl citrate, glyceryl palmitostearate, silica, titanium dioxide, medium chain triglycerides, yellow iron oxide), glyceryl behenate, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), silica, sodium starch glycolate.

Suggested Use
RECOMMENDED DOSE – (ORAL) ADULTS ONLY: Take 2 capsules three times per day with a glass of water. DURATION OF USE: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks. CAUTIONS: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking Hydroxymethylglutaryl (HMG) CoA reductase (“statins”) lipid lowering medications or cyclosporine; or if you suffer from liver or kidney disease or have received an organ transplant. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Discontinue use of the product and consult a health care practitioner if you experience muscle pain, tenderness and/or weakness.
