Description
Astragalus is used in Herbal Medicine to help maintain a healthy immune system. Astragalus is used to treat colds and upper respiratory infections, to strengthen and regulate the immune system, and to increase the production of white blood cells. It is also an antibacterial, antiviral tonic, liver protectant, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. St. Francis Herb Farm's Astragalus tincture is certified organic.
Medicinal Ingredients (per 1 ml):
Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus, root) 250 mg Quantity Crude Equivalent (1:4)
Non Medicinal Ingredients: Distilled water Certified Organic alcohol
Suggested Use
Dosage: Children (2-4 years): 0.33-0.5 ml (10-15 drops) Children (5-9 years): 0.5-0.75 ml (15-22 drops) Children (10 - 14 years): 1-1.5 ml (30-45 drops) Adults & adolescents (15 & over): 2-3 ml (60-90 drops) All doses should be taken 2 times daily in a little water or juice on an empty stomach. Cautions and Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have an auto-immune disorder. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal is broken. Store at room temperature.
