Description

This tasty chewing gum is the revolutionary delivery system for this unique oral probiotic and ensures the most effective distribution in the mouth. Infection protection starts in the mouth. With 500 million friendly bacteria, CulturedCare™ Probiotic Gum provides the mouth with the probiotic protection and resistance it needs to fight the bacteria that cause bad breath. It is also recommended for us after antibiotic use to re-colonize the mouth with the health-promoting bacteria that are destroyed by antibiotics.
Medicinal Ingredients (per gum)
BLIS K 12® Probiotic (S. Salivarius) - 500,000,000 CFU.
Non-Medicinal Ingredients
Isomalt, gum base, organic natural flavours, xylitol, calcium stearate, malic acid, steviol glycosides.
Suggested Use (adult dosage)
For oral health, chew one gum tablet daily for 5-10 minutes. Do not swallow gum. If you are on antibiotics take 2-3 hours before or after. Use for a minimum of three days.
For halitosis, chew one gum tablet for 5-10 minutes (after rinsing with an antibacterial mouthwash) four times on the first day, then one gum tablet per day for maintenance. Do not swallow gum. If you are on antibiotics take 2-3 hours before or after. Use for a minimum of three days.
Cautions & Warnings
Don't take if you have a serious medical condition without first consulting your health care practitioner. If you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur and/or persists beyond 3 days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. If symptoms of ear, nose or throat infections (e.g. fever, sore throat) occur, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
Contra-Indications
If you are taking aminoglycoside antibiotics (e.g. kanamycin; gentamycin; streptomycin), do not use this product. If you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment), do not use this product.
