Milk thistle is traditionally used to support the liver, gallbladder and kidneys, enabling these organs to operate at peak efficiency. Flora’s Milk Thistle plus promotes the liver’s production of bile, which is stored in the gallbladder until needed to digest oils and fats. Silymarin, an active ingredient in milk thistle, is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the body from free radical oxidation that can cause cellular damage.

Medicinal Ingredients:
Each Vegetarian Capsule Contains:

Milk thistle seed extract (Silybum marianum) (45:1) 250mg (Equivalent to 11.25g seed, provides 200mg silymarin)
Dandelion root extract (Taraxacum officinale) (4:1) 29mg (Equivalent to 116mg root)
Artichoke leaf extract (Cynara cardunculus) (3:1) 12mg (Equivalent to 36mg leaf)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:

Microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, silicon dioxide

Suggested Use
ADULT DOSE: Take 1 capsule 2 times daily, in the morning and evening. Use for a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects. Store in a cool, dry place. CAUTIONS: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Keep out of reach of children. CONTRA-INDICATIONS: Do not use if you have liver or gall bladder disorders, bowel obstruction, and/or bile duct obstruction. Discontinue use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble.
