Dried Morel Mushrooms

Ponderosa Dried Morel Mushrooms are prized and revered the world over for their intense flavor and unique texture. An exquisite addition to cream sauces, pastas, chicken and steaks, they add elegance to any meal.

Note: 0.5 oz/ 14g of dried mushrooms equals about 2.5 oz/ 70g of fresh product.

To Rehydrate: Soak in a bowl of warm water, wine or stock for 20 minutes or until tender. Strain through a cheesecloth or filter reserving the flavorful liquid for use in soups, stocks or sauces. When preparing soups or stews, the dried mushrooms can be added without rehydrating as they revive during the slow cooking process.
