Description
TRITICUM TURGIDUM Khorasan wheat takes its name from the ancient Persian region of Khorasan. The stem exceeds one and a half meters in height and the ear is up to 15 cm long. The grain of Khorasan wheat is about twice the size of that of traditional wheat. An ancestor of durum wheat, it is an ancient grain with a high protein content, already cultivated 6,000 years ago in Egypt. Very versatile in the kitchen, despite its exotic name, it comes from a 100% Italian, 100% organic supply chain.
