The hens that lay Gold Egg Organic eggs live on free range farms where they are free to roam indoors and outdoors (weather permitting). Free range farms include state-of-the art, open-concept indoor barns, where each hen has ample room to perch and scratch, plus access to nests to lay their eggs.
Gold Egg Organic laying hens are fed with organic feed certified by the Canadian Organic Regime (COR). This vegetarian feed is made from non-GMO grains grown on pesticide-free land.
Produced in Ontario by Ontario Egg Farmers and certified Ontario local by Foodland Ontario. Don’t be fooled! Look for the Foodland Ontario logo on the carton as a sign that your eggs come from local Ontario farms.
All packaging for Gold Egg Organic eggs – pulp and plastic – are made from 100% post consumer recycled materials. Empty cartons are 100% recyclable (where available).
