Arrowroot is an easily digested starch which is often used as a thickener in many foods, and is also used in cakes, cookies and other baked goods. Arrowroot starch is gluten free. It’s an excellent substitute for other starches and flours when used as a thickening agent. Arrowroot starch is neutral tasting and freezes well.
