Description
Millet is a small, round seed of an annual grass that is eaten as a cereal in Africa and Asia. Millet is not a true grain cereal, but it is related to the sorghum grain. Rich in lysine and protein. Millet MUST be hulled for human consumption. This grain has a light delicate flavour that takes on the character of whatever it is cooked with.
Instructions: Add 1 cup of grain to 3 cups of water. Boil, cover, reduce heat to medium and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 20 minutes.
Shelf Life: 2 months on the shelf; 4 months in the fridge, 6 or more months in the freezer
