These cacao beans are grown organically, then naturally dried and fermented to release their intense chocolate flavour and aroma. In addition to being delicious, they are also a source of magnesium and a superfood.

Suggested Use
Whole cacao beans are a very versatile ingredient. Eat them as is, or use them in a raw dessert, smoothies, trail mixes and homemade hot cacao! They can be opened up to collect the cacao nibs, ground to create fresh cacao powder, turned into cacao liquor/mass, and pressed to extract fresh cacao butter. Both the shells and nibs can be used to make cacao tea. They can even be ground in a coffee grinder and brewed like coffee.
